I recently brought my 2011 Silverado in for an oil change, and tire rotation. The deal that GM is offering for these service items makes it a GREAT BARGAIN. Part of the GM deal is a FREE multi-point vehicle inspection which alerts me to potential/future service needs before they actually happen- GOOD IDEA. The gentlemen at the service desk were helpful as usual. When I dropped my truck off and w/o asking, the gentleman said he was checking to see if there were any TSBs for my truck. My 1997 Tahoe was leaking fluid which I had concluded was not engine coolant or engine lube oil. Not a good sign. One phone call to your service department and one trip to your shop the next day to bring in the vehicle was my part in correcting the problem. The rest of what was needed to correct the problem was done by your people in a smooth, professional manner. The diagnosis was clearly explained to me, I was informed of the progress during the repair, and the paperwork was done promptly when I picked up the vehicle.
